Fjernvarmen spiller en afgørende rolle i fremtidens smarte el-system i Danmark, viser erfaringerne fra CITIES-projektet.

I ’Dansk Fjernvarme’ fortæller professor og centerleder på CITIES Henrik Madsen, at intelligent brug af varmepumper i fjernvarmesystemerne kan levere den fleksibilitet, der er nødvendig for integration af store mængder vind- og solenergi.

Dermed vil fjernvarmen kunne spille en nøglerolle i en økonomisk effektiv omstilling mod et fossilfrit el-system. Forudsætningen er dog, at der indføres dynamiske energiafgifter, som baseres på, hvor grøn strømmen er.

CITIES Data Management System
