Last week Smart Cities Accelerator with center leader for CITIES Henrik Madsen participated at the Danish Folkemødet.
Henrik Madsen talked about the new research from the SmartNet project where it has been possible to create coherence between the surplus production of wind energy especially at night and the local electricity consumption in 30 holiday homes with indoor pools in Blokhus and Blåvand at Vestkysten. The perspective is enormous, and therefore the partners continue under the project Center Denmark.

The solution software for Model Predictive Control (HPMPC) is a toolbox for High-Performance implementation of solvers for Model Predictive Control (MPC). The tool contains routines for fast solution of MPC and MHE (Moving Horizon Estimation) problems on embedded hardware. Further description and insights into the project is coming soon.
