Last week Smart Cities Accelerator with center leader for CITIES Henrik Madsen participated at the Danish Folkemødet.
Henrik Madsen talked about the new research from the SmartNet project where it has been possible to create coherence between the surplus production of wind energy especially at night and the local electricity consumption in 30 holiday homes with indoor pools in Blokhus and Blåvand at Vestkysten. The perspective is enormous, and therefore the partners continue under the project Center Denmark.
The Danish media Nordjyske Medier has published an article about the research and also talked with a summerhouse owner. Read the article here
The project solution on cloud-based solutions for forecasting is intertwined with research on data analytics, energy systems integration, markets and smart buildings. Further description and insights into the project is coming soon. In the meantime please read more here
