CITIES Innovation Center conducts projects on policy and regulations in relation to integration of energy systems in cities. The development of new energy policies and efficiency regulation schemes is becoming more and more important for successfully integrated the increasing amount of variable energy resources. The projects on this topic takes into consideration that a fruitful development have to take the all aspects of the energy market into account, including policies and EU level, regional and national level and at the municipal or city level.
